VP Anderson is a Publishing Pro, Creative Project Manager, Brand Strategist, and Writer.

V (pronouns: she/they) loves to ask questions. After graduating with a degree in journalism with an emphasis in production and marketing, she utilized and expanded her investigative skills as a reporter and independent film producer, working in healthcare as a high-level project manager for several years, before running away to work on cruise ships as a port lecturer and brand marketing specialist.

Since 2005, she has been professionally writing, speaking, and consulting for a variety of clients ranging from nonprofit organizations, to individual entrepreneurs, to Fortune 500 corporations. In Publishing, she finally found an arena that requires her entire assortment of professional skills, while allowing her to innovate and create every day. From writing to editing to marketing to consulting on rhetoric-based platforms and campaigns, she's been privileged to influence storytelling from many different angles.

As a literary agent for 7+ years, she used her diverse industry experience and creative brain to provide an “out of the box” perspective and to champion more inclusive, transparent, and progressive publishing practices. Writing as VP Anderson and Veronica Park, she has published nonfiction and fiction in multiple formats, most recently the middle grade horror-comedy graphic novel series, BLOOD CITY ROLLERS.

“Everybody needs a passion. That’s what keeps life interesting. If you live without passion, you can go through life without leaving any footprints.”

— Betty White
